Digital Valley Albania (DiVA) Project Officially Launched

The Digital Valley Albania (DiVA) project has officially been launched, marking a significant milestone in accelerating the digital transformation of Albania’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
This innovative initiative, co-funded by the European Union, seeks to empower SMEs across key sectors — including agriculture, tourism, and manufacturing — by offering access to cutting-edge digital technologies, specialized training, and tailored business support. Through this comprehensive approach, DiVA aims to provide businesses with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to enhance their competitiveness, foster innovation, and achieve sustainable growth both locally and internationally.

DiVA represents a unique opportunity for Albanian enterprises to embrace digital innovation and strengthen their role in the European digital economy” said the project’s implementation team.
By combining training, technology, and collaboration, we’re helping build a smarter and more connected future for Albania’s business ecosystem.”

The DiVA project will act as a central hub for digital innovation, learning, and collaboration, designed to bridge the gap between traditional business models and the rapidly evolving global digital market. It brings together a consortium of local and international partners who share a commitment to promoting digital skills, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
Through a variety of activities, including hands-on training, mentorship programs, innovation workshops, and access to testing facilities for new technologies, DiVA will enable businesses to explore and implement practical solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and environmental sustainability.
Moreover, the project will provide guidance on topics such as digital marketing, e-commerce integration, cybersecurity awareness, data management, and the adoption of green digital tools, ensuring that Albanian SMEs are better equipped to adapt to the digital age and align with EU market standards.

By fostering collaboration between the private sector, academia, and public institutions, DiVA aims to create a sustainable digital ecosystem that not only supports business growth but also strengthens Albania’s overall competitiveness within the European innovation landscape.
“The launch of DiVA is more than just the beginning of a project — it’s the start of a long-term transformation journey for Albania’s SMEs,” the implementation team added. “Our focus is to build capacity, inspire innovation, and create tangible results that will have a lasting impact on the country’s economic future.”
